daddyo Posted October 1, 2012 #76 Share Posted October 1, 2012 At the present time we are on the Cloud. While we expected the worn furnishings and carpet, we did not expect the AC to break again as we knew this had been a problem earlier this year. It has been out for 5 days in most or all areas of the ship. They have been working and the Cabins are much cooler at the moment. However, public areas such as the resturants are downright "unbearable". We have spoken to several first timers. They won't be back. Apparently, Management in Ft. Launderdale but profits over reputation. So, if anyone is embarking in Barcelona, you might want to consider bringing a fan.
Scott1sh Posted October 1, 2012 #77 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Hmm... We are boarding The Cloud in Barcelona this Friday. We have booked a Vista suite and am very concerned to hear this, particularly as we won't be able to open a door or window for ventilation. What action has SS taken this far to address the situation? daddyo Posted October 1, 2012 #78 Share Posted October 1, 2012 So far nothing. I am sitting the internet lounge where it's got to be at least 85F right now.
