shore excursions

Recommended Posts

I wish more would come back and talk about shore excursions. Especially the ones offered on the ship. So many decisions. I'll be on the Oasis. I have read so many good things about the ship now I want to read about your adventures.

And please CC don't move them. This is RCCL related.

I agree with you. We will be on the Oasis as well. I went to the port of call page, but I like to book directly with cruise line and I am not having luck so far finding RCCL excursions profiled there.

I hope your thread gets a good response for us!!

Before you start considering spending money on excursions, read a guidebook on your ports. Decide what interests you.....THEN you can decide if what you want to do even NEEDS an excursion! Many things are very easy to do on your own, without paying someone to help you! If you find you DO need to pay a guide, go to the "Port of Call" boards on this site....you will get lots of suggestions and info.

But...do your research...you can save big $$$$$ by doing a bit of reading!!! Libraries have guidebooks, if you don't want to buy one!

I agree, reading about excursions is fun, how about starting a thread called

"What was your favorite RCCL ship excursion and why?" You might get a great thread started, I will look for it.

Also keep in mind, when people post a review here, they are usually more than happy to answer questions. I understand that it can be hard to think of questions when you don't know what to ask though.
