So what is ya'lls opinion of the 4 B9 spa cabins right under the stairs and pool casino 14144, 14146, 14148 and 14150--- do you think they will be noisy ---or would it be better to be more forward ----- 14000-14126 (don't remember seeing pictures of these yet... are they regular balconies or the hull balconies??? thanks in advance for any help ---debating whether to change cabin again.....

That's just not fair.

Just because I'm already booked on the Breakaway I don't deserve a chance to win???

I always provided all my pics from my visits at Meyerwerft (and by the way we don't live close to shipyard) and from my cruises here. I even provided hundreds of laminated name tags with lanyards delivered to each cabin for several cruises for the M&G, organized Meet & Greets, group dinners, cabin crawls and so on. So you really think that shouldn't be rewarded as well

May the best picture win!!!

Hi Petra,

I agree it's not fair. I got your facebook message last week, and I voted for you. But mainly because I hadn't seen Andreas' post that he also was in the running.

I did really like your picture, but not being German....it was harder to relate.

Andreas' picture was Breakaway-specific, AND really funny with the Statue.

So I asked Daniel to vote for him.

It's not disloyalty, but Andreas has asked for our help in winning....NOT so he can cruise Breakaway, but so that he can take more photos for us all.

Since you're already going on the ship, I hope you'll understand that I wasn't trying to be unfair.

Stephen

You were all so helpful during the float out. Please keep us updated for the sail down the river. Did the date change back to the 11th?

Thank you.

The official press release from Meyer Werft announced that the conveyance has been postponed until the morning of Tuesday March 12th.

Can I just say right up front.... I am going to need a compass to get around this ship.... LOL :D

Ok....I know Rccl has an app that shows the decks of each ship that you can have on your phone for that. Don't know about NCL. Info is usually on a map on the ship that says "you are here" with a dot. Good luck!!...lol

Yes NCL does. The breakaway is on it, but a lot of the public parts are saying "to come" so they will probably updated later. The app is called shipmate.

I am jumping on the band wagon - please help me find my cabin 10234 - midship mini suite. From looking at all of the previous pictures and locations I am getting disappointed. It looks like our balcony will look down on an open balcony and the view will be further blocked by the life boats. Am I correct? My husband and daughter tell me "don't worry about it", but one of the things I love about a balcony is looking down on the water.

Yes, ShipMate is a good app and shows the Breakaway deck plans which will be updated closer to sailing. The app also shows you where it's last here reported position is, which will be interesting as the ships undergoes sea trials in the North Sea this week and next.

I agree NCL needs their own app that let's you see your location and order room service etc, but that would really only be useful in US ports when youth eave a data connection. Too expensive and slows on board.

Your room is above the water front, from what I can tell there will be a roof on the water front throughout it. Then after that the life boats underneath that, you are correct your view will be blocked downward, how much? I don't know. But it is fair to say that the direct view to water will not be there.

That said from all my time that I have spend looking at the exterior of this ship, very few cabins will have a direct view downward to the water. Very much like the S-class ships on Celebrity. Even on the humps on this ship there are obstacles to block your view.

If you want a direct view to the water, your only choice seems to be rooms 8116 to 8134 port side, the same of for starboard side just across the ship different numbers. You might want to consider switching, but keep in mind that those balconies appear to be open, with no roof (yet, could change).

Sorry to bring you bad the news, but that is simply how the ship was designed.

I could be wrong but isn't the cabin you circled on deck 9? I say this because if you look at deck 8 deck plans, the cabins seem to end halfway which seems to be the deck below the circle.

You're right, my bad.

Yes, that would be deck 9 circled. If you count down from above, the Haven suites are on 16 and 15 (you can clearly see them on top decks in the photo) so the circle is around a cabin on deck 9
