Everything Breakaway!(LIVE on 4/28)

I've been known, in similar circumstances, to go and commandeer loungers from the upper decks. I've done this a couple of times on the second day (when requests to our cabin steward or guest services fell on deaf ears) and never has anyone uttered a word as I make my way through the halls... :D

NICE, now that's what I call a clandestine operation :D. Hey when all else fails (steward & guest services), you gotta do what you gotta do!

Perhaps I have missed it, but have there been any photos of an inside with both the "pull down" bed and the fourth "pop up" cot/bed? I have seen the inside picture (or video, can't remember which) with the two beds separated and the pull down visible, but not with the fourth bed. Just trying to picture how this would be? Most likely nowhere to put your feet! lol Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know if the "pop up" bed is lower than the regular beds? My son is 3 and if it is lower, that would be a plus!

I like to think of it as a "reallocation of resources"... ;)

Tom

If the steward can't help us out Tom..I will be "Reallocating" right along with you! ;)

Very impressive balcony sizes 12 aft for sure!

This only works for certain items as they refused to refill the frozen margarita machine in my cabin.:D

That seems to be the growing theme with every single larger balcony we've seen on here. I have absolutely no idea why NCL put the same set of tiny furniture in the larger balconies as they did in the shoebox-sized "balconettes" (aka standard balconies). I mean there's no reason that they shouldn't have at least one lounger in the larger balconies by default. As I've said on here a few times already, I'll be asking for one on day one .

Good maybe they will have learned by October to just leave them there so I don't have to ask :)

Good info!! where'd you find it? Do you have those measurements for B (balcony) categories? Or the M (suites)?

I have a BB and after seeing all the pics and chatter about how small the balconies are, I'm thinking of changing to a large balcony (B6) or a Mini-Suite (MA or MB) or suite with Large Balcony (m6)

Foco did you find information about which category to switch to? There is no way I can lure my husband into being happy about those mini BC balconies he is 6'1" his legs will not fit facing forward..I was just looking at a mini, the balconies look tiny as well..

Those of us with "balconettes" may be reallocating our furniture to the top deck to free up room for people! From the looks of the balconettes either the balcony is too small or the furniture is too big. We may have to reallocate some resources (mini chairs) from the kid's club. ;)

I've probably blown it by letting the cat out of the bag (where in the world did that saying come from)!

Here's the post I made where I comparison of a photo of a typical Epic balcony (standard I think) to a screen grab from a video of a standard Breakaway balcony. Enjoy :)

Thank you Jim, I have been waiting for your report on Deck 13 aft, though this is not the news I was hoping for lol.

Deck 12 is gone on my sailing, but I could potentially switch to 9,10,11, or 14. What would you recommend?

Also, if we do end up staying on 13, will we be able to fit 2 loungers?

Thanks a million for posting!:)

Deck 14 is totally covered little reason for sun loungers but the shade might be nice sitting in Bermuda for 3 days. My concern of the lower decks was privacy. I can't see into any of the balconies below. You can see and chat with others below when they stand at the rail.

If you want sun no deck better then 13 with very little cover. No issue fitting two loungers.

Maybe you could help me with this I am changing 2 cabins for a sailing next year to S6's. I need 2 on the same floor. (12 has 1 cabin gone) trying to decide between deck 11 and 9 (biggest). I want 9 but I am a little concerned about the noise from below and the view may be hindered by the roof of deck 8.

Any insight would be great!

LOL, I'm not sure about the furniture being too large; by the looks of the "table" (really have a hard time even calling it that) I'm not sure you can fit more than 2 cocktails on that thing ;)

I guess so, I am really close to H2O, a quick trip upstairs and I have my lounge :D

I am very surpised to see the aft balcony's and the M6's do not have lounge chairs already.

I had an aft balcony on the Epic and I had a lounge chair, two chairs and a decent sized table. I poked my head around the balcony divider and our neighbor's had the same set up.

Would love to see a picture of the Casino! Searched around on the thread but haven't found one yet. From what I've heard of the plans, it's something to see!!!

There are pictures posted somewhere, I saw them the other day. They're probably buried 20 pages back by now. It was a link to pictures.

can anyone confirm if the aft Balcony disabled rooms (11914 or 12910) only fit 2? I'm trying to book that for my MIL and 2 kids and the HC room would be so much better for her (mobility issues and the handicapped bathroom is a huge plus for her), but they said it only accommodates 2.

Anyone on board willing to check that out?

We were only able to book 2 in 12910, my parent's HC cabin. We booked 3 people next door in 12908.

I also want to bring my own table, I'll bring a folding one. I wonder if there is a tall table in the aft cabin's that can be moved to the balcony and use instead of that little table.

Also, that aft balcony is so huge, I may move my mattress out there if they don't give me a lounger!
