If you are going to Israel for the first time overnight in Jerusalem

Thanks, this confirms my itinerary change. Originally was going to go to Akko for a few hours from Haifa, then head to Jerusalem and overnight. Next day spend as long as we could in the Old City and head to Ashdod. But, now going to nix Akko and head straight to Jerusalem, there are just too many sights. Doing this we might be able to see Temple Mount, if it's open at 1:30. Unfortunately it will be closed the next morning (a Friday).
