I really don't think he is a troll unless he posted a similar thing in the past. I distinctly remember everyone jokingly saying that if people go for this the cruise line would just quit hiring people and instead charge them to work for them and call it a tour. I don't have any idea if it was EVER true but I remember the discussion because I am a physician and at the time I was actually investigating cruise line work as an option. When I found out they pay much less than in USA and expect the doc to function as a board certified ER doc even if they are not one, I decided not to pursue this. When I read the thread about this I was thinking "yeah they practically expect you to pay to work" when you consider all the expenses of staying credentialed. Actually they do pay enough that it would be nice as a working vacation but not for a full time job. If the US economy gets much worse, Carnival might start looking mightly good as an employer!

OP was joking, or rather attempting to lighten' up the boards some IMO. I believe that this thread will also follow his "colored safes" of last week unfortunately.
