marco Posted May 5, 2004 #26 Share Posted May 5, 2004 But are we allowed to admit that we like some other lines as well as "X", and in some aspects, more? I could not resist, HAD to book the "QM2" transatlantic for later this summer, a few days in London then and fly home.

nealberk Posted May 5, 2004 #28 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Can we get this addiction listed as a major medical problem so the treatment becomes a medical expense? I can just see my next IRS audit. BeckyR Posted May 5, 2004 #34 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I think I qualify. I leave in 2 weeks on my 3rd cruise in 3 months.....a dream come true! Unfortunately, my luck has run out and I have no other cruises booked....BUT I'm working on getting a bunch of our friends together for a cruise next March. Sort of wish the 3 this year had been spaced out a little more, but I'll take 'em when I can get 'em! Becky
Danno Posted May 5, 2004 Author #35 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Well now we know...we have some seriously bent people out there. I guess the formation of the FOD club is now in order. May I suggest we meet in the America's Cup lounge on Horizon at the soonest agreeable date. We have some very sick folks out there. No time to procrastinate!! For whoever suggested FOD (friends of Danno) as a name...is this like having a disease named after you?? I'm honoured, I think . Danno Posted May 5, 2004 Author #40 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Rusty...had the opportunity to eat at Barbarian Steak House in your fair city a couple of weekends ago. The food, service and ambiance were wonderful, like cruising on dry land. Mind you it cost me over $200 with tip. We may be junkies but we get great value!! Rustynail Posted May 5, 2004 #42 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Hey Danno, great place but one can't afford to eat there on a regular basis that's for sure. I'll tell you that some of the food I experienced aboard the Century was in the same league as Barbarian's. imagine spending $200.00 a night just for dinner on a cruise? I think we get a pretty good deal overall vacationing on the water..don't you? Please keep all the snow up in the great white north...thanks. davis0056 Posted May 5, 2004 #45 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Danno I don’t know if this makes us cruise junkies or not but I had to install another harddrive in our computer. The main drive is full of cruise information. People like us spend their time when not cruising trying to figure out what cruise is next. We don’t have cruise brochures and magazines in the bathroom but our laptop with network card on a rolling stand works great. God we’re “Cruise Junkiesâ€! Help us! Anyone who wishes to contribute to our addiction of being a “Cruise Junkie†may forward his or her credit card number to our email address (This is not a tax deductible contribution (we tried) but it will go to a good cause: “ Addicted to Cruising Junkie,†“ Cause For Help,†“Financial Aid,â€â€œCruise Junkie R USâ€). If you prefer to send a cashier’s check we can provide you with our mailing address. You may also send wire transfers to 1-800-OUR ACCOUNT (687-222-6868) on your touch-tone phone. US dollars or Euros only please, (no stamps), next cruise is Transatlantic: with the exchange rate we need all the financial aid we can get. CruiseForever Posted May 5, 2004 #46 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Danno!!!!!!!!!!! Not only am I a cruise junkie, I'm a beach junkie. Cruises: 1. I book each cruise at least 18 months in advance to to get the exact suite that I want. 2. I have already picked the bottles of wine from my wine rack that will be coming with me on the Summit on April 11, 2005. 3. I have already started planning which beaches to go to and where we will scuba dive. 4. I have already asked my wife what she wants to purchase in St. Thomas. 5. I have already booked my flights to and from the port. 6. Four months prior to the cruise, I will select one of the books in my pocession that is currently unread and save it for the cruise.
