Krazy Kruizers Posted August 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2012 The last report I heard -- $40 per person per day.
jackretired Posted August 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 26, 2012 The last report I heard -- $40 per person per day. Can it be booked for just one day?
foodgirl Posted August 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2012 It can be booked for one day provided they have openings. Others may have different information, but that is what the spa staff told me on my last cruise. I always book the week as I spend time there every day when I cruise. It is a great way to relax without so many people around.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 26, 2012 Can it be booked for just one day? Yes -- only if there are openings. You won't know that until you get on the ship. If you have a day in mind before you cruise, once on the ship you can go to the spa and see if that date is open.
SirTomster Posted August 28, 2012 #6 Share Posted August 28, 2012 So is it better to book before the cruise for your week long Thermal Suite Package or wait until you board the ship. And if you wait, how often is it already sold out? I am a little worried about that one.
Cayoooga Posted September 1, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 1, 2012 I have found that booking on embarkation during the spa tour and negotiating the price a little for a week long package, to be the best bet.

My best has been on a b2b and asked for a discount. You will have to just ask for their best price. sorry can't give you a number. ;) But definitely go on the spa tour first thing on embarkation day and then ask. ;)
HamburgAvonLady Posted September 2, 2012 #10 Share Posted September 2, 2012 We will be on the Westerdam for 30 days next month --- If you book a week or more --- can you chose when to go ??--- in other words, if I pay for 14 days --- can I spread out my visiits ??? I don't think we would use it when we are in the islands as we have numerous excursions that are water/beach related.

You either book for the entire cruise, or you book per day (providing there's room). You can't book a portion of the cruise, except on that per day basis. (only spa treatments, which I am not interested in). If you want to book in advance for the entire cruise, you can call to make the reservation. Once on board, check that the price that day is the same as you paid; there have been reports that the cost is higher in advance. It happened to me once; we got the refund easily, once we asked. If you want to book by the day, you can only do that on board.
oofroggie Posted September 4, 2012 #17 Share Posted September 4, 2012 I was just on the Noordam and asked for a discount as I was a 4 star mariner and in a suite that had access to the Neptune lounge and was told by the spa staff that there were no discounts regardless. Shebba Posted September 4, 2012 #18 Share Posted September 4, 2012 When you book by the "day" is it a 24 hour period or JUST that day. In other words, if I book at 11:00 am on Wednesday, is it only good through that day or is it good until 11:00 am on Thursday?

HamburgAvonLady Posted September 5, 2012 #22 Share Posted September 5, 2012 Hopefully, there will be some good "specials" on boarding day !!!! Wanted to surprize DH as we throughly enjoyed the Celebrity Summit's Thallossomy pool which was FREE !!! (Never crowded, either. I would book that ship again just for the T-Pool !) mick70 Posted September 5, 2012 #23 Share Posted September 5, 2012 We bought the Spa pkg. when we first boarded the Oosterdam two weeks ago it was $199 for 2 for the week. When I called ship services I was told $250. They really where trying to sell the Pkg .
