I have two asnwers for this, actually.

For dinner time, not just on cruise ships and not just elegant night:

1. I want her stunning, on my arm, the envy of all men.

 

Also, when we are just on the ship or doing excursions. The answer would be:

3. I want her to be comfortable in whatever she decides

My wife and I dress up for dinner anyway when we are at home. So it is just natuaral for her to wear a nice evening/cocktail dress and for myself to have either a suit or at minimum a jacket on. That is just our style and what we like to do.

I'd say a combination of 1 and 3. We live in a small town, with not too many opportunities to get dressed up and have "date nights". After 15 years, I like her to look good, but I want her to be comfortable in what she wears too. She likes getting dressed up for special occasions like our recent cruise and I like it too.

#3 for sure. It's her vacation too! Plus I don't treat her as something to "show off". If she wants to get prettied up and go out, that's her choice. Other guys can look, but that wouldn't be the goal in this scenario.

Okay guys....PLEASE ..tell the truth, regarding your wife or girlfriend.

 

In my opinion there are 4 types of men. I have a "fashionista" thread going on right now referring to how women dress on a cruise....a couple of women had me thinking. Do the men tell them the truth?

So...can you please answer this....

If you are on a cruise, how do you want your wife/GF to look/dress?

Guess I have to say 1, 3 & 4. After 39 years of Marriage, I'm more in love with her today than when she took my last name! As has already been said: "When She's Happy, I'm Happy!"

Depends on the situation. Of course I want her to be comfortable BUT when she "dresses" she's beautiful and since I know she dresses for me, I like that.
