Disembark QM2 in NY, what to do before evening flight home?

We disembark the QM2 in New York on Tuesday 2 October, although our flight home is not until 7.35 pm from JFK to Heathrow.

 

I was thinking of going to JFK as soon as we disembark and just waiting there until the flight, but it seems such a waste. Although we have been to New York before.

 

Any ideas from people who have been in a similar situation?

If I remember rightly from another thread... But, I could be wrong...

 

If you have a Cunard Transfer booked, they will take you to Manhattan for several hours on bus, drop you off at a set place, then pick you up again to get you to JFK for your flight... But, I could have read that wrong and be talking complete and utter rubbish... :eek:

Well, what sort of things do you like doing? You could have lunch in a nice restaurant or just walk around and enjoy the sights.

Thank you for the link, unfortunatly I will have to think again as the Cunard transfers are only available if you book flights with Cunard. We didn't.

I seem to recall this sort of excursion being sold by the excursions desk onboard, without a requirement to have booked a flight through Cunard.
