dmwnc1959 Posted September 3, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 3, 2012 As some have referenced the cruise line itself does not own other cruise lines, but is itself part of a larger group of cruise lines owned by a single parent corporation. Each of the many cruise lines has its own President and CEO and operates as separate entities from each other. Only Royal Caribbean International (the cruise line) and Celebrity Cruises have frequent guests programs where they give common/transferable credit for sailing on either line. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (the corporation) has a chairman presiding over all the individual companies. His title is Chairman and CEO of RCCL and as previously mentioned that person is Richard Fain. .
dmwnc1959 Posted September 3, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 3, 2012 Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (the corporation).... As a side note the official name of the corporation was changed to Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd from the aforementioned RCCL to avoid confusion. Kept the same abbreviations that way. ;)
