VA is "better" (higher deck), or at least, more expensive.

Closer to the top of the alphabet is "better" on HAL.

Except, y'know, some verandahs are V- (others are A, B, BB) and suites are S.

Now I'm making it complicated again, aren't I?

Thank you. That's what I thought. (I love it when I'm right! :p Hee!!)

According to HAL's pricing, from most to least expensive:

VQ V VA VB VC VD VE VF VT

Thanks for the correction, CanadaRocks. I forgot about those pesky VQ's V's and VT's with my "top of the alphabet" remark.

I should know better.

Almost. You forgot VH at the bottom, but of course those usually aren't bookable until around final payment day, and then usually only as guarantees. The VT only exist on one ship. The V, VQ, and VT don't exist on Vistas, so, fann1sh, your "top of the alphabet" statement works fine there. :)
