Your top 5 things..

What are you top five things to do/see/eat in St. Thomas? I've been to St. John so on my next cruise with my friends we are going to stay on St. Thomas. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.:)

We enjoyed going to Sapphire Beach. The place is beautiful and had wonderful snorkeling if you are in to that. We could have stayed and never left if it was our decision. :D

Michelle, I saw your similar post for St Maarten. I feel silly, again, sharing hearsay, but here goes :o I have heard more than once that St John is one of the best places in the world for snorkeling. I mean right up there with Hawaii and Australia. Hopefully more post will confirm that.

We had a really nice few hours at Magens Bay. The water was calm and warm, sand soft and white. We saw lots of cool iguanas, had to shoo them off of my towel. A tour around the island is nice to see the beautiful vistas.

Thanks Bob. I'm looking for something other than snorkeling in St. John as I have done that. I agree with you. It was absolutely beautiful.

Paradise Point. Tram ride up and the view is incredible. And if you like adult beverages, you have to have a Bushwhacker!

Agree with previous posts on Sapphire beach and Paradise Point. We also like stopping at Iggie's beach bar at Bolongo Bay for a rum punch or one of the bars in Red Hook but these are more fun in the evening. If not spending all day at a beach a tour of the island is a must, renting a car is the way to go, STT is easy to drive. If driving I would hit the shops at Tillets Gardens. If not Butterfly Farm and the birdlady show in Havensight is fun for all ages, and of course the historic section of Charlotte Amalie is very interesting.

By far, our favorite thing to do is wander the alleyways of downtown Charlotte Amalie. We usually hit a beach or sail or snorkel in the mornings, and end the day wandering around, eating, drinking and shopping our way around the market and the downtown stored.
