sailor moon Posted May 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2005 I am trying to figure out the macro mode on the Panasonic FZ20. I have been trying all the different modes to get ready for my upcoming Alaska trip :D Any insights to picture taking with this camera would be greatly appreciated  I really like the feel of this camera and want to master it as much as possible before we leave. I only got it 2 days ago and the instuction book is less than steller  Help!
deadzone1003 Posted May 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 19, 2005 Very few people have a Panasonic DMC-FZ20. Try the Panasonic sub-forum at DPREVIEW.COM. This may be the best forum for Panasonic Digital Cameras in the Internet.
mountainhouse Posted May 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2005 Seems to be some advice here about not using the macro mode: http://www.dcresource.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-1705.html Like deadzone says, there's lots on dpreview: http://search.dpreview.com/forums/search.asp?query=macro+fz20&forum=1033 Lots of talk about adapters there. That hints it might not be a great macro camera.
