WaldosPepper Posted September 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2012 According to today's Royal Gazette article: http://www.royalgazette.com/article/20120910/NEWS/709109968 The pertinent excerpt: "The cruise ship Norwegian Dawn will arrive in Dockyard tomorrow morning, then anchor in the Great Sound on Wednesday and ferry guests into Hamilton before departing at 5pm." I'm happy that NCL has found a way to make this adjustment.
WaldosPepper Posted September 10, 2012 Author #2 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Even better news! Despite the report linked above, which indicated the Dawn would arrive on Bermuda tomorrow, she is now 3 nautical miles from the shore at St. Georges, and about to begin her course around the island to the Dockyard. Despite the fact that she's just encountered light rain, I'll bet there are an awful lot of very happy people onboard right now! :D
njhorseman Posted September 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Reading the article, I think the "tomorrow" statement was made yesterday. (looking at the top where it says Updated 10:55 pm September 9). The Royal Gazette doesn't publish on Sunday, so the article was published today, but written yesterday. That makes perfect sense. ;)
