Summer cruises of 10-12 days

Does anyone have any information on Summer cruises greater than 7 days? I understand there are the European Cruises, but I think I'd rather do something in a warmer climate. I'd be interested in something for my husband, son (13 y/o) and myself. Also, this would be for Summer of 2005, as we are on AOS this July. Thanks for any thoughts and or suggestions!

Hidy-ho neighbor,
Might check out the Post on Sundays - the Travel Section ususally list some 10-11 day options out of Baltimore to the Eastern Carribean. With Baltimore being 90 minutes away, theres no airfare to add in. Pebbles and I are looking into a spring or mid-summer deal for next year. Several of the on-line shops also list good deals. Have fun looking...

Warmer? Mediterranean (Italy, southern France, Greece etc) will be as warm or even hotter than the Caribbean in the summer. I think it is more educational for your son and interesting for your husband to do that than another Caribbean cruise.

Best of luck!

I like the idea of Baltimore, but I don't think they have any 10+ day cruises leaving there in the summer months. Now I really had not thought of a Mediterranean cruise, but it really does sound like something worth looking into. The reason we're stuck with the summer months is school. Our son will be in High School next year, and has not missed a day of school yet, so he just does not want to take off during school (which is a great surprise for his age!)
