Likelihood of guarantee cabin change (by RCCL)

Hi - I booked a balcony guarantee which was assigned recently. We are fine with the cabin (it was the one we had reserved prior to a guarantee being introduced at a lower rate). So basically we saved a little money to be in the same cabin. There aren't many available in the same category we have (and our location is much better).

 

Has anyone had the cruise line change the cabin once a cabin is assigned? I am assuming it is pretty unlikely but thought I'd ask if it has happened to anyone else.

It *could* happen...with a Gty anything is possible...but most likely it will not change...IF it does the you are not happy with the new cabin you can asked to be changed to a different cabin in the same category...

If it happens, it will be to a better catagory cabin.....they won't just move you for the heck of it.
