We are looking at doing a round-trip London British Isles trip next July on the Caribbean Princess. Since we will be taking my 80 year old mom, I was wondering what to expect. I do know that seas can vary and everyone's perception is different, but I would like to get some feedback. How has it been for you. Mom is a seasoned cruiser, but less steady now-are the seas fairly smooth at that time of year?

We did the Baltics from Southampton July 2011, and the North Sea both ways was as flat as a pancake. This year in July going to Norway and Iceland, there where a few waves a few feet high.
