trizzou Posted September 15, 2012 #26 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Am I the only one that thinks John makes some of these up? It just seems like a huge coincidence that he always has one request where someone requests something crazy like draining the pools and refilling them with regular water because their kid has a problem with salt. mrsd912 Posted September 15, 2012 #27 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Our cruise director announced it every morning when we got I to port. I thought it was common sense but maybe not.
golfadj Posted September 15, 2012 #28 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Then don't send stupid and rude stuff to him stu ;) Actually it was based on my comments on the new loyalty program here. Either one of his spys sent it to him or he really is a member here.
golfadj Posted September 15, 2012 #29 Share Posted September 15, 2012 Please expand on this...what happened? Post a link. I have commented here and his fb page that I am disappointed in what happened with his loyalty program. To get back at me he posted on his fb page an attack on me. His expectations were that his minions would pile on and drag me thru the mud. However a very large number of friends on here and fb actually went after John calling what he did very unprofessional. He took down the post and reposted a kind of sort of explanation for his original post. Lots of people defended me again and he took it down again. I am a good customer of Carnival doing my 3rd cruise of the year later this month and dont think that employees of Carnival should be attacking their customers. He does this regularly and just not good business practice.

Nahhh - I don't think he needs to make stuff up. People ask the darndest things :) The pool thing really isn't that crazy - my kid HATES the salt water (Disney pools are fresh) - Never thought of asking them to drain and refill though. Common sense isn't really very common these days. Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk

I'll pop in from time to time & read his blog or check out his FB page for new photos from Mr.Radu...but I'm not a regular reader of either. And, like many here I'm very disappointed in the FCC announcement and the entire general rolling down of amenities. I'm platinum, and I've been a very profitable resource for CCL for 7 years now...I cruise 2 or 3 times a year...never a 3, 4 or 5 day cruise either. I always book a balcony or a suite, which is saying something because I'm a solo cruiser & pay 200%. I always dine in the steakhouse at least once, usually twice, buy Bailey's from Bon Voyage for my cabin, spend a considerable amount of time in the casino, have purchased from the art auction, purchased spa visits, & on & on. I'm taking my 3rd 8-day Miracle cruise of this year in just a couple of weeks, & this is the first time I won't be able to buy a FCC. It's sad, but it's nudging me closer & closer to NCL and also to Celebrity, which is where I started. To the OP - sorry for the hijack...but to be on topic: Once, while in Belize, I burned so badly that my face looked like a pekingese dog from the swelling...but it was entirely my fault. :o.
