Question Du Jour/Cabin Switching

I booked a cruise some time back, and now there is a room now available in the same classification that I would like to switch to. But...the price is now considerably higher. If I ask for the move, will I have to pay the rate difference? :o

Is it the EXACT SAME category? D1 to D1 or M to M, not just balcony to balcony or interior to interior?

If yes, then you can just change your cabin without incurring any change in price.
