kelledge Posted September 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2012 I just went to book the excursion for the two tank certified dive in grand cayman, and it is sold out. I am a little devastated. I was under the impression that this was booked months ago. Anyway, can anyone reccommend a good non-carnival company to dive with? Leaving sunday. drew sailbum Posted September 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Wow. Short notice. If you have your own buddy you can easily (and more cheaply) do some excellent shore dives. You'll see more scuba specific threads over in the Scuba & Snorkeling section of Cruise Critic. This recent thread the the Grand Cayman section of Cruise Critic has more details on shore diving options and some links to some of the many great boat operators here in Cayman. bookbabe Posted September 20, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2012 DH usually goes with Red Sail, but I'm not sure if your times match up. http://www.redsailcayman.com/redsailcaymanactivityscuba-diving There's also a good listing of dive operators on the Kittawake website. It's pretty convenient for cruise ship visitors, and I'm told it's an interesting dive. http://www.kittiwakecayman.com/schedules/
