This will be our first time in Aruba. Is there anything that is a must to do? Is there anything within walking distance from the pier?

Shopping and restaurants and casinos are within a block of the dock. Beaches are lovely, but will require a bit of transportation. Cabs are plentiful.

 

Since you don't know much about Aruba, a guidebook will help you make the best use of your time on this desert island!

We LOVE going to the beach. So is there anyone we should go to that wouldn't be to far from the pier. Cause we do like shopping and casinos and that sounds to be within walking distance. We are going on Carnival Victory and We will be in Aruba from 7am - 5pm So maybe we could take a cab to a beach for awhile then back to do some shopping and maybe casino then walk back to the ship.
