JohnLauben Posted September 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2012 We are looking at the Ocean Princess for next summer. I read that they only do traditional dining----do they have tables for 2? Yes, there are several tables for two. However, seating is very close, and a table for two may just be quite close to another table.

paul929207 Posted September 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2012 There are a few tables for two that are pretty isolated, but most are made by spliting a small table off from a larger one. Usually this results in about 8 to 12 inches between the tables.
Rare sunluva7 Posted September 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2012 We had a table for 6 on our recent cruise, with a table for 2 about 8 inches away. The people at the small table ended up joining in the dinner conversation - wonder why they even bother with the table for two. It's definitely not for those who want a quiet romantic dinner. caribill Posted September 26, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2012 If you go to http://fp.caribill.com/ you can see pictures of the Ocean Pricness when it was named the Tahitian Princess. Click on the thumbnail labled "Food". Picture number 1: On the top left of the photo you will see two paintings on the wall. Beneath each painting is a table for two. This is as isolated as it gets. Picture number 2: You will see a table for six. Next to it on the lower left is part of a table for two. You can see how close the two tables are to each other. Crystabel Posted September 27, 2012 #7 Share Posted September 27, 2012 What a beautiful ship! We're thinking of taking her on a B2B to the Baltics if the same itinerary is offered in 2014. Thanks for the link.
