hamfam Posted September 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2012 Have a choice between cabin #8320 and #9392 on the Explorer of the Seas. What would you choose? Website says obstructed view from cabin #9392. Is there much metal infrastructure? Thanks.

Website says obstructed view from cabin #9392. Is there much metal infrastructure? Thanks. We would take 8320..It is direct center on the "bump out" portion. We've done the 'Hump" 3x and next Oct/Nov. will be 4th & 5th on a B2B sailing. I don't mind if the balcony is a wee bit smaller, but we don't like the aft or forward. Too much rocking if it is not a smooth sailing. Enjoy whichever you choose You're on a great ship!!. Safe sails and have fun:)
cb at sea Posted October 4, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 4, 2012 On the Voyager class ships, the "aft" balconies don't look directly down onto the water....there is superstructure beyond your balcony railing to look past....that's your "obstruction". DonnaK Posted October 4, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2012 IMO, 8320 is a much better cabin - clear view of the water, and very convenient location!
