Zaandam 1842 and 1846

Can anyone give me information on these rooms. There is a lot of white space around the room so I wanted to see if this was a loud area or not. Any help would be appreciated

We were in 1836 just across. All I can recall was a little noise from the thrusters when docking, however I don't believe that you should have any problems.

I have spent many days in 1840 on both the Volendam and the Zaandam and found no noise issues whatsoever. You will notice on the deck plan that there is an entrance way from the hall into that "white space". So, it is an area where crew has access, but have no knowledge of what that "white space" may be. Personally, I would not be concerned.

 

That area is a great area of the ship for good stability when "the ocean is in motion".
