Yes, immigration is done onboard after you arrive, nobody can leave the ship till everyone has cleared. As for the purser, most people have automatic checkout on their credit card but a few people do not and must clear with the purser prior to anyone departing as well. I was also in no great rush to leave but you can't wait in your room and after breakfast there is not any other food or beverage service so you just have to sit around in the attrium with your carryon luggage waiting to go. After a couple of hours of that it gets pretty old!!

How much are domestic beers? In 2002 I think they were 2.95 including tax and tip.
