Star Princess noise?

We are booked on the Star Princess cabins C705 and C707. They are near the aft elevators. Has anyone noted any problems with noise near the elevators on this ship? If anyone has had any experience with these cabins we would love all of the info we can get. I also posted on the cabin questions forum, but I figured all of you Princess travelers would be most likely to have answers. This is our first Princess cruise....we are so excited!

I was on the Star a couple of years ago on Dolphin deck, D708 and never heard any noise from the elevators. The laundry room was also very near and we never heard anything from that either. It was nice to get off the elevator and be almost right at your door. I have also been near the elevator bank on the Royal Princess and didn't hear any noise on that ship either.

I've never had noise problems from the elevators on any Princess ship.

We were in B707, also never heard any noise from elevators or people congregating in teh waiting area.

We've had a cabin on the Sun Princess right by the elevators and stairwell and never heard any noise. Shouldn't be a problem on the Star.

These cabins are very well insulated so noise shouldn't be a problem. The Star is a beautiful, happy ship. Have a wonderful cruise.

I've never had any trouble with noise when booked in a cabin near to the elevators.
