anchorage to Seward

We are staying at the Hilton in Anchorage before departing on our cruise on Celebrity. Celebrity has a train that takes us to Seward. Does anyone know how this works with the luggage> When we get to the train, do we see the luggage again and have to worry with it, or does it appear in our cabin?

A couple of years ago we took the train from Anchorage to Seward.

 

We were on HAL and RCI also used the same train. The luggage was picked up at the various hotels by trucks hired by the cruise lines. Luggage did not go on the train. The luggage was picked up by 9 AM even though we didn't get on the train till 1 PM. The luggage was actually on the ships before we got there.

 

Do take your own carry-ons.
