Are the arcade games payed with actual money?

If tokens, are they bought with actual money or charged to card?

We just gave our son $$ and he played. (I think, he bought tokens. One thing I know for sure, he couldn't charge his card.)

I thought it was just quarters. No tokens.

No Tokens, just Quarters.

 

There are change machines located in each game room that take 1's, 5's, 10's and 20 dollar bills.

There's a really fun game where you are a police officer and have to shoot the bad guys. You physically have to duck and stand up as you play the game, so you get a lot of exercise!
