jamies78 Posted October 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Hello, I just put a hold on the Independence for March of 2014 and trying to decide whether or not to book. I was able to hold cabin 1400, which is an aft wrap balcony. I have never had one of these before, and would really like to see some pictures of the inside of the room as it appears to be a weird shape, as well as the balcony as I believe it has obstructed views. Can anyone share some pictures with me? :)We would have 4 people in the cabin, so wanted to see the layout for that reason. I believe that all Freedom class ships (FOS, LOS, IOS) have the same layout for these 2 cabins, 1400 and 1700, so pictures from any of the ships would be great!! Thanks so much for your help! I was a bit concerned that there is no pullman bed, so 2 have to sleep on the pull out sofa bed. Take some pictures of that bed when you go!! Thanks! I absolutely will take bunch of photos and will post when I return. My kids are not thrilled with sharing a sofa bed, but oh well. I think it will be fine- and we won't be in the room very much! I hove a pic of the couch made up I am just trying to find it. For me there is enough room, but we are used to camping. If you don't think it will be enough room I have seen where people bring a air mattress. I might do that just incase, my daughter actually wants to sleep on it anyway, go figure. jamies78 Posted October 15, 2012 Author #14 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Those pictures help a ton! I am converting my hold to an actual reservation now. My 2 boys will be 4 and 6 when we sail, so I am sure they can share a bed! Thanks for the help!

We are on Indy in 1700 as well in December. Does the attendant make up the bed each night or does it stay open for the duration?
