I want to go to Emerald and Morningstar Beaches just for 5-10 minutes each to take pictures. Would a taxi there be cheaper or some sort of shore excursion? Thanks!

Morningstar is tucked away to the southeast of Havensight, and Emerald is on the other side of Charlotte Amalie. I would imagine a taxi would be the only way to do both.

There are taxi rates for St. Thomas on a website. Just google St. Thomas taxi rates.

Unfortunately the vinow taxi rates don't really help you and I've not taxied on STT in some time as we rent there. And depending on where you're docked the taxi rate will be different. I'm guessing the 3 taxis could add up to $30 based on typical rates between Havensight and CA and CA and Emerald but I'm not sure. Hopefully MS411 or someone else can give you a better idea. :)

It may be better to do it as a tour, but that would be a custom, group tour. How many in your group?

I see you're leaving tomorrow, and I'm also leaving tomorrow, so I'm going to give you a rough taxi estimate. For each of your beaches from Havensight, the fare is $6 pp each way. You may be charged wait time, but check with driver before going to the beach. I think breaking it up in two separate trips may be your cheapest option if you can't negotiate a good group rate.
