Cruisedreamer1 Posted October 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2012 We are in the process of setting up an independent tour and want to confirm that the hours listed on our itinerary (i.e. arrive at 9 am and depart at 6 pm) are local time not Miami time. I explained to our tour operator that the time is local not Miami time. He wants to say that we arrive at 8 am which is incorrect. Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks. Most know more about docking locations and docking times than the passengers. It is their job and they don't get paid if they don't show up and perform. (Hope you are not paying full price in advance) Remember also a ship is at the mercy of the port authorities and may be assigned a different docking location at the last minute or be delayed clearing immigration, etc. A good tour operator is aware of all of this and adjusts. If it says 9 am on the ship's schedule for Cozumel, it is 9 am in Cozumel. I was surprised to read that some ships use with a time of their own.
