Coral Princess - 10 day - how many wear tuxes?

where next?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I know formal night has been discussed a lot but I would just like to know if on a 10-day cruise more men tend to wear tuxes than the approximately half that do on the typical 7-day Princess cruise?

If most men are wearing tuxes, my husband and son would want to as well. If it's still half and half then they can decide!

Thank you!

Hi Bobbie,

When are you going on the Coral? My experience with 10 day dress is about the same as 7. 50/50 this was the case on a 14 day as well.

My advice for what it is worth,

Family pics.....Tux's are nice

If they own there own wear them

If both do not apply a nice suit is great and spend the rental money on better things.

If your son is a teenager may pay to buy him a inexpensive tux saves rental for formal dances.

Hi denisern2,

Thank you for your quick reply. We're going on the Coral next April 23, 2006.

My son will be 10 so he won't need a tux except for cruising once a year for now. Good idea though if he were a teenager!

Depending on the cost of renting, you're right that we could have a wonderful portrait taken. My husband could definately buy one. He doesn't change in size much (lucky devil!).

Thanks again,

Bobbie
