Onboard Credit information

Recommended Posts

We were lucky to get 200 dollar on board credit....just wondering if we have to use it all or will we be refunded at the end of the cruise with the balance. I know on carnival that they give you the balance to you on the last day but not sure how Royal Carribean works.....thanks a lot

Rule of the thumb is that if someone paid for it, it's the same as cash and any unused portion can be refunded. If it was a promotion of some type and neither you nor anyone else actually paid RC $200 so you could have $200 OBC, then it's most likely "use it or lose it".

The only type of obc that I've ever had was use it or lose it. If you don't want to use it, with that said, you can go to the casino and get out cash against your sea pass minus 3%. I think I've described that clearly, if not someone will correct me.
