Hyatt Pier 66?

Looking around, I'm seeing people are booking the Hyatt Pier 66 for around $100 for the night, some times less. How are people getting this price? I've looked around and right now for our pre-cruise stay in may 2013 prices are about $200 for the night. Thanks in advance!

Priceline is where I got my room on the cheaper side. There's a sticky at the top of this Florida board where people list their winning Priceline bids. It's not 100% that you will get Pier 66, but it's worth a shot. Good luck!! :)

I just booked it for $90 on Priceline, for our pre-cruise stay on Dec 16th. My preference was a beach hotel, but this is the fun of Priceline! Looks like a very nice hotel.

I'm not worried about the complaints. Most reviews are positive so it should be fine, it is definitely not a dump...lol

Watch TravelZoo as well. I booked a Jr Tower Suite for our upcoming trip for $129. (Rack rate is about $250.) Includes free cocktail, free parking for the night, and daily water taxi passes for two. Seemed like a good deal as we won't have a car and will be enjoying the area via water taxi.

(At the time I booked, there was a $99 option as well for a regular tower room. It did not come with the water taxi or other "perks".)

I stayed there this past April, along with other friends and we had 2 lanai rooms and I would not stay there again unless I booked a tower room. They weren't very clean, we experienced drunk people sitting and falling down just right outside our patio and I am sure I didn't book one with a 4 inch green lizard, but we found that in our room. They did sent a housekeeper over with the most disgusting broom to "kill it" and over course missed, so we were put in a different room. I was disappointed being a Hyatt Regency. I would definitely not pay more than $100 for a lanai room. I am sure there are much better hotels that can give you a little more for your money.
