Sofa Beds ?

Has anyone out there ever slept on the sofa bed? Is it a typical sofa bed where you feel the bar? What kind of mattress is on them?

Some ship's sofa beds are more like futons...some are standard pull out beds with that bar....just depends!

 

I would put the youngest, lightest person on a sofa bed.

We find these tend to go fast. My wife has a bad back and we usually ask for one of these....we're often out of luck.

We've not had a problem getting one since RCI got the new bedding.

On Freedom, I've slept at least part of few nights on one next to DD. It was one of the futon style ones. I thought it was fairly comfortable without the egg crate, but it was a little bit more firm than the regular beds.

Our son slept on the sofa bed, and it must have been comfortable. Considering that he often is up before 7am, he ususally slept well past 9am on sea days. We couldn't get him up to see the glacier at the end of Endicott Arm Fjord.

We are booked for the Allure. Would love to get a balcony vs 2 inside rooms but just wondered if you feel the bars with the sofa bed.

Does anyone have a comment on a Vision class sofa bed in a GS or OS - those sofas do not look like futons. :)
