I have heard that the best way to get cash without paying a service charge is to get it from the casino cage. Is there a limit per day? Anyone have any experiences doing this?

It depends on the cruise line. Some casinos will charge you as much as 3% for each transaction, while others don't charge anything. RCCI had a $1500 a day limit while Celebrity had a $2000 a day limit. Neither of those two lines charge a fee, but Carnival and Princess do.
