Monkeys On Board Posted October 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2012 I thought that they did not serve raw sushi on any Carnival ships. Has that changed? I just looked at the sushi menu for Carnival Sunshine (Bonsai sushi) and it seems like they are now serving raw. They even have a disclosure on the bottom. What do you think? :)

bbohbbneedacruise Posted October 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2012 That disclosure is on the bottom of ALL menus on land and on sea. It is a regulated disclosure issued by the USDA and Health Dept.

Maybe Im blind.. was there one you saw listed as uncooked? I do actually like sushi sometimes .. but on a ship it always seems like there is so much food I dont really have it.. but its good. I didnt realize that all the items were pay items.

wrcjr98 Posted October 28, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Do they still have the sushi offered at like 3 in the afternoon on Carnival? I sailed in 2010, and they had a small sushi bar with pre-prepared items that weren't bad, and the lines weren't too terribly long?

The Bonsai Sushi is a new "pay" sushi option.

I think it starts at 5:30 to later, maybe 8:30?
