myshipcamein Posted May 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2004 If debarkment is at 9:00 am what time would you have your ride pick you up. I hate for my son to wait a long time. We decided on a street in NYC to meet. But don't know what time to have him meet us. Any suggestions.
serene56 Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Does your son have a cell phone?? if possible take it with him. When his color is called for disembarkation he then can call the person to pick him up. The documents say the ship diembarks at 9am?? the ship can pull in at 9 but it needs to be cleared by customs agents before anyone can get off. I say- let your son get a relaxing breakfast and get off about 10 or so. Depending on where he will meet you say between 10:30-11am. andychris Posted May 14, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2004 Last year we decided to carry off our own lugguage. No need to wait and then find your belongings. We got off the boat at 8:30am, got in a cab and were back in queens by 8:50. Now ask me why I would want to fly to florida?? Especially with 2 small children. The earlier you can get off, the less congested it will be on the pier. The later, more people boarding the next cruise will start arriving.
