Sheffie Posted November 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2012 Does anyone know if you can take liquor purchased at the duty free shop at the pier onto the Summit?
Rare printingchick Posted November 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2012 I believe you can carry on 2 bottles of wine per stateroom. If you consume them in your cabin, there is no fee. If you take your own bottle to the dining room, there is a $25 "corkage fee".
Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted November 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 5, 2012 We will be on RCL Grandeur of the Seas in April. I know they have revised the wine prohibition. [2 bottles allowed] I want to see if I can purchase liquor in PR to take home? This is a repo cruise and I will drive home from the pier. So, there is no problem with bottles and flying home. I understand they will take the liquor. I am not trying to drink onboard. Will they return the bottles to me at the end? They do this for any port of call I stop in. Just not sure about when we board.
Lady Librarian Posted November 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2012 I believe they won't let you take it to your cabin but will hold it like they would at any other port of call. You'll get it back when you disembark.
