Pan Am pier. Duty free liquor allowed?

Does anyone know if you can take liquor purchased at the duty free shop at the pier onto the Summit?

I believe you can carry on 2 bottles of wine per stateroom. If you consume them in your cabin, there is no fee. If you take your own bottle to the dining room, there is a $25 "corkage fee".

We will be on RCL Grandeur of the Seas in April. I know they have revised the wine prohibition. [2 bottles allowed] I want to see if I can purchase liquor in PR to take home? This is a repo cruise and I will drive home from the pier. So, there is no problem with bottles and flying home.

 

I understand they will take the liquor. I am not trying to drink onboard. Will they return the bottles to me at the end?

 

They do this for any port of call I stop in. Just not sure about when we board.

I believe they won't let you take it to your cabin but will hold it like they would at any other port of call. You'll get it back when you disembark.
