Never sailed Carnival before, but will be on the Legend this Sunday.

 

Are there any documents I need to have handy other than the boarding pass and ID (passport)?

Did you fill out all of your information on carnival.com for your cruise? While not mandatory, it does speed up your check-in process.

All you really need to print is your boarding pass and your luggage tags. Some ports require that you show your boarding pass and ID docs before they let you in to park or let you off at the terminal if taking a shuttle. Sounds like you've got it under control.

Although it's not a document, you should have the credit card you entered on the boarding info. We have had times they needed to swipe it as well as times they said ok, fine and nothing.
