CruiserBruce Posted November 7, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 7, 2012 If you read down the board, there are several threads about strikes. In summary, generally strikes are limited to very small locations generally not where tourists are heavily concentrated. Only very rarely, when a wide area strike occurs does the tourist business become impacted, and most cruise lines will cancel Athens if this occurs. The Greeks know tourism is a big part of their economy, and rarely do anything to threaten tourism. Impacts of strikes also rarely spreads outside of Athens.
