grublet22 Posted November 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Does anyone know if the Jewel of the seas have a Mongolian Grille? Something warm on a January cruise day sounds delicious! :D Sylvia
Rare BillOh Posted November 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Not that I do remember seeing. I did think the food there was very good at dinner though.
dagored Posted November 8, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Not as of a month ago. Have to agree with Bill on Main Dining room. However, I found the WJ to be sub par for breakfast.
Jack&Laura Posted November 8, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Does anyone know if the Jewel of the seas have a Mongolian Grille? Something warm on a January cruise day sounds delicious! :D Sylvia We were on the Jewel last Dec. Sailing the Jewel again this Sunday. NO mongolian grill...everything is buffet. Out of our 22 cruises, the Jewel has the BEST food in our opinion.
edk136 Posted November 9, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 9, 2012 I like the outside seating in the WJ on the Jewel.
Ashland Posted November 9, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 9, 2012 On our Baltic cruise onboard JOS there was a Mongolian grill..raw items set up and then you would hand them to one of the chef's..This was where the egg station usually is at breakfast and was offered during the dinner hours a couple of times during our 12 night cruise. We are fans of the WJ and usually eat there many times during our cruises...We especially like the dinner hours...dimmed lights and a great variety of options..You will also find many of the senior staff and even the Captain eating there during those quiet dinner hours on many nights...Don't be so quick to discount it..you might be surprised, as it is nothing like the busy loud breakfast & lunch times. That was our experience with the Mongolian Grill and the WJ on our Baltic cruise this past June. We never went for Breakfast or Lunch, but the afternoon snacks were fine. The food in the MDR was also very good with not a bad night.
