Balconies had been sold out for days but suddenly there are 2 available?

For our 12/2/12 cruise, balconies have been showing as sold out for days with lots of OV and Inside cabins left and 12 suites. All of a sudden, today there are 2 balconies. My first thought is that people upgraded to suites but there are still 12 suites.

How would that have happened?

Upgraded , downgraded , rescheduled, cancelled ....a block could have been held for a group..lots of reasons...
