39august Posted November 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2012 Can anyone who has stayed in this OS on either ship tell me if noise was a problem, please? The deck plans seem to show it is under the restroom area of deck 11 and not directly under an area with deck charis, so hopefully, no waking to the scraping of moving chairs! Green Recruit Posted November 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Can anyone who has stayed in this OS on either ship tell me if noise was a problem, please? The deck plans seem to show it is under the restroom area of deck 11 and not directly under an area with deck charis, so hopefully, no waking to the scraping of moving chairs! We stayed in 1328 on Mariner in December 2010 and did not hear a thing! Hope that helps you. Teri

ckrobyn Posted November 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Thanks so much for the info. This will be our first OS. Exciting isn't it? We are booked in 1300 for 2 weeks on the AOS in February and I can't wait! :)
music Posted November 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2012 I have looked at so many pics posted...the OS has a curtain for privacy, not a bedroom? Thinking of have my adult son stay with us...? A GS is set up the same? Thanks!
rubrrick Posted November 30, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 30, 2012 1328 on the Mariner was very quiet. The bedroom is curtained off from the living room, and with curtains closed it is very dark in the bedroom. We like that as one of us can read in the living room while the other sleeps in the bedroom. The same is true for the .GS. Rick
