soft drinks package on Liberty

Recommended Posts

We have bought the soft drinks package for our 4 night Liberty of the seas cruise in february. Please can someone explain how it works on this ship? Do we have to carry a cup around? Do they have machines so we can help ourselves? If we order a vodka and coke in a bar do we just pay for the vodka? What is included in the offer?

many thanks

When you buy the package you get a souvenir coca cola cup which you can get filled at any bars, or you can just show your SeaPass card, which will have the Coca Cola logo printed on it, and they will just give you a regular glass of soda.

As far as I know Liberty does not yet have self service machines.

If you order a mixed drink with soda in, you still pay the full price of the drink, and included in the package are coke, diet coke and sprite. It is only fountain soda, so cans are not included.

You do not need to use the cup, just show your card. No discount on mixed drinks - you pay for the alcohol, not the mixer. You are entitled to any fountain drinks, no cans (eg, those in your cabin or from room service). Don't know if Liberty has the self-serve machines yet but if they do then you WILL need to use your cups for them.

Can't answer about the alcohol or the drink machines, as I have not been on a ship with the machines yet. But you do not have to carry around the plastic cup that they give you, and I hardly do. Just show them your sea pass card when you order and that's it.
