TravelGal22 Posted November 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2012 What time do you usually get your luggage by?
bbohbbneedacruise Posted November 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 25, 2012 Not to sound snarky but there is no real answer. It can be anywhere from an hour to later into the evening.
Paul Bogle Posted November 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 25, 2012 That's our experience. Only once was our luggage delivered later than early dinner seating but it could come any time in the afternoon.
KPfromCT Posted November 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 25, 2012 Agreed!!!! Traveled on the Pride in April with another family and they all had their luggage by 4pm. Now, mind you, I had a box of wine in mine, and was sure it was confiscated and I would have to make a trip to the naughty room. But it showed up right before dinner. Phewww!!! 6ish. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Butterbean1000 Posted November 25, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 25, 2012 It varies, usually by dinner. Sometimes it's there when we get to the stateroom. Only once did a piece of luggage get lost. It was "found" the next morning.
TravelGal22 Posted November 26, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted November 26, 2012 Guess I'll have to pack my clothes for dinner on our carry on. What a pain.
Paul Bogle Posted November 26, 2012 #7 Share Posted November 26, 2012 Dinner is casual enough in Carnival dining rooms these days but the first night is explicitly casual due to the luggage situation. We usually wear attire suitable for first night dining when we board the ship and bring more casual wear like shorts and a comfortable shirt in our carry-on. It makes packing easier for us. jayscore Posted November 26, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 26, 2012 Guess I'll have to pack my clothes for dinner on our carry on. What a pain. I wouldn't worry about what you wear to the MDR that first night. It's totally understood that many don't get their bags before dinner. Just sayin'......;)
