Volendam and Her Ten Day Cruises .......

Recommended Posts

We have decided to combine back to back cruises by cruising in April to Hawaii for 18 days followed by an Alaskan cruise for 7 days.

Oh! Now there's an itinerary I could love! Packing could be a challenge, to be sure, but what a wonderful combination cruise!

Hi Sage.....Thanks for posting about Volendam.

I understand you were 'specially greeted by the previous occupant of your 'accomodation'. ...as she was escorted ashore (by our friend) :) ??? Isn't he a wonderful gentleman?!!

Glad to hear Volendam was wonderful and you had a good time.

Hope you'll post some more comments when you get home.

Travel safely

KAKcruiser - I was the person looking for this itinerary (Westfarer) again - checked the HAL website, but couldn't find it. It looked like the Amsterdam was doing the Panama Canal at that time. Thanks for posting - I'll keep checking - maybe I missed it.

I don't know the ports but there is a Westfarer listed for 2006 in a brochure I received this week. It was a European brochure but it had a chart that listed all the cruses for each ship.

Haven't been on-line in awhile. Engaged in a little too much "Retail Therapy" and knew I could not afford cruise again until late 2006, so I was too depressed to come on-line.

I am now looking at that 10-day Nov 13 Southern Carrib out of FL in 2006. Have moved into a new postion at work that prevents me from traveling the first two weeks in Dec (which is my prefered time to travel), so I now look at Nov voyages.

Anyway, even though it is 17 months before I can have the feel of ocean beneath my feet, I am looking forward to my next journey.

Yes, seven days is a little too short and I really can't take 14 or more days out of work. And another 20+ years until I retire.

Oh yes, Jim Vrhovac, I have copied you here at work. Sometimes my tootsies get cold when I kick off my shoes, so I wear my Cookie Monster slippers here at the office.
