2013 Identity Captain, Hotel Director, Concierge, etc.

I am still trying to find out who will be the Concierge and Cruise Director on the Dawn on the April 7th sailing...........anyone???

The current concierge Ryan leaves after this week so Virginia should be back for your cruise.

Remembering that with the coming out of the "Breakaway" and all things subject to change ... the following is Jewel staffing :

 

Captain : Idar Hoydal through 1st week of April then Lars Bergstrom.

 

Staff Captain : Per Abbe until beginning of March then Richard Svardmark back for Panama Canal Repo through to Alaska.

 

Hotel Director : Ignacio Alvarez (til 3/31) then Hugo Vanosmael through the Panama Canal and at least the month of June.

 

Ass't Hotel Director : Brian Walters (til 3/31).

 

Concierge : John Dsouza (til 5/25).

 

Cruise Director : Jaime De Souza.

 

Casino Host : Noshir Belinda.

 

Chief Engineer : Tihomir Hrdalo.

 

Food & Beverage : Ivo Belev till 3/31 then Ignacio Alvarez through the Repo at least.

 

Restaurant Manager : Adine Barrett leaving before the Repo.

 

Beverage Manager : Dindo Ramos through the Repo.

 

Group Events Coordinator : Lucille Seno at least through PC Repo.

 

Group Services Coordinator : Alfie Bantug-Barete through the PC Repo.

 

 

Some Butlers : Teo, Nelson

I believe Brian Walters from the Jewel is going to the Sun or the Dawn? Can't remember which ship he mentioned.

 

 

We are told that "Hugo" is the CD on our 4/21/13 Jewel Cruise, and is one of the best...(Probably as good as Matt Baker or better):)

 

We don't interact all that much w/ the CD, but it's great when they are fun.

Hugo is not a CD. He is the Hotel Director.

Hugo is not a CD he is the HD

Sean is the HD on the Star.....PAR EXCELLENCE!

 

I wish they would bring back Matt Baker as CD on some NCL ship. No one could even come close to him! wiki wiki wah.:D

We were also on the Star repo from NY to NOLA......our best cruise so far!

Any news on how Kyle is doing? I had heard that he was not well and had to leave ship.

 

Kyle is fine . He left ship then came back to finish his contract went on vacation and back onboard the star again since end of January.

Thanks for the fast update. I am happy that he is back. We are doing the Panama Canal on the Star April 20, 2014. Do you know if Sean, Yannis and Kyle will still be there? I am keeping my fingers crossed.......they are a great team.

Too far ahead of time to know but currently Sean is the Resident Hotel Director on the Star.
