We Have 11 People Taking The Stingray Tour And 4 Heading To The Beach. We Would Like To Hook Up With The 4 After The Tour Is Over. What Are Some Free Beaches Where We Can Get In? The Four Will Most Likely Rent Beach Chairs Since They Will Be There Longer. Are There Any Hotels That Are Reasonably Priced To Go To For The Day? I Saw The Hyatt Is $35 For The Amenties And Food Etc Which Would Be Fine For The Four But I'm Curious If You Can Just Pay A Few Dollars To Use The Amenties Without Paying The $35? Thanks

Konthego,

There are several beaches up and down Seven Mile Beach. If you want to go natural I would suggest Cemetery Beach. Nice beach without a lot of people but there are no facilities except a tree or two for shade. As you head down the beach towards town from Cemetery you will pass The Marriott Courtyard, Sea Grape Beach, The Public Beach and then you get into the area where there are a lot of hotels/condos.

If you want a free beach your best options are Sea Grape Beach, The Marriott Courtyard, Public Beach or Royal Palms farther downtown. Depends upon what you're looking for but for a couple of chairs at a place with nice facilities I would recommend Sea Grape Beach.

We were at the Royal Palm week of 5/21. They have just reopened their bar/eating area. Beach is nice and wasn't as crowded as the Beach Club. There were chairs to rent $5.00 and admission was free. At the time however, they only had 1 or 2 umbrellas to rent so don't count on one. Their new food/bar area was really nice and although we didn't eat there the food looked great and many were ordering. Their bathrooms were nice and clean. I much prefer this to the old Beach Club.
